Question: What natural remedies are useful for genital warts in the anus area? I have genital warts (HPV virus) around my anus area and want to know what can I use to get rid of them or make the itching stop. Do the same remedies for regular warts work for genital warts? What is safe in the anus area? Do you know of any websites or resources for genital warts? Thanks for all your help
Answer: you need to see a dr. they can remove them for you even at the health department. they can treat them a few different ways. if all of the warts are removed at one they should not come back, unless you sleep with someone who has the warts also. you will still have the hpv and can transmit it, but you cant give ppl the warts once you have them taken off.
be prepared, it hurts like hell when they treat them too.
Question: How long after clearing up genital warts is it ok to have sex? I just found out today that I have genital warts for the first time. I have only slept with 2 people and I'm rather careful so this came to me as a big shock. I also may have cervical cancer. I just started treatment, but I want to know how long to wait before becoming sexually active again. Even after they clear, can I spread them to others? I have so many questions and I really didn't get any answers from my doctor.
Answer: Hi well I would be seeking answers from ur doctor coz normally u wait until medication course is completed then a week or so.
Whilst medication ceases activity there is no surety that u will not infect partner OK ♥
Question: Does genital warts lead to high risk cervical cancer. I'm hearing yes and no which is the truth? I hear 2 different sides. I know certain strands of HPV can lead to cervical cancer. And I'm also hearing that the strands of HPV that develop warts are not related to the strands that can cause cervical cancer, but then again i'm hearing people say the Genital Warts are directly related as a high risk for CC. Help!
Answer: That damn gardisil commercial scared the hell out of ALOT of people.
Don't get your education from TV - they're selling a vaccine!
Anyhow - IF YOU WERE PRE-DESTINED to get cervical cancer (not everyone GETS cervical cancer obviously)
having HPV will only speed up the growth of cancer on your cervix IF YOU HAVE cancer.....
IT DOES NOT CAUSE CERVICAL CANCER TO HAVE HPV
Question: How do you get rid of genital warts? Preferably an at home remedy? I was wondering how to get rid of genital warts without going to the doctor. have heard milkweed works. Is thia true? Has anyone ever tried it? Any other at home remedies? Please help!
Answer: I wouldn't use any "at home remedies". It's much easier to just them treated by a doctor.
Every person is different. What works well for others, may not work well for you. There are several different ways a person can get rid of them.
A doctor can prescribe a cream that the person can use at their convenience and at their home. Aldara cream and Condylox cream are available with a prescription.
If these creams don't work or the doctor doesn't want to try them, the doctor might suggest applying medication at the office. This is done by the doctor, is done in several visits and can be pretty expensive. Some of the medications that can be used include: Podophyllin resin (Podofin), Intralesional (injected into wart lesion) interferon, Fluorouracil (Efudex, Fluoroplex), and Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) or bichloroacetic acid (BCA).
A person can also have surgery to remove genital warts by freezing (cryosurgery), burning (electrocautery), or laser treatment. Surgery is occasionally used to remove large warts that have not responded to other treatment.
Although treatments can get rid of the warts, they do not get rid of HPV, so warts can recur after treatment. The body's immune system typically clears the virus anywhere from 8 to 13 months, but it occasionally remains in the body for a lifetime.
Question: How can i get rid of Genital Warts without burning my skin? I was diagnosed with genital warts a few months ago and the doctor gave me Condylox Gel it is painful and burns the surrounding skin if you're not careful. Does anyone know of any Natural treatments that doesn't involve burning the HELL out of Penis. I already seen a doctor and i don't have insurance to keep going back to see him. Can anyone help?
Answer: if you really want to get rid of genital warts forever then you should know that you can remove genital warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or cream but genital warts can reappear again and again because genital warts appears when your immune system is weak!
HPV is the virus that causes genital warts. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. Others will develop genital warts. These warts can stay the same size, grow, or go away on their own. It largely depends on the infected person's immune system. A healthy immune system means your body may be able to suppress the virus and not show symptoms.
Even after the warts go away, the person will always remain infected with HPV. That person can spread the virus even without showing symptoms.
so you must build up your immune system because your body can get rid of genital warts by itself if your immune system will be strong! so eat more healthy food, more vitamins and more sport activities! (No smoking, no beer/ale, no booze, no drugs, no junk food, no fast food garbage, no sugary sweet soda's. Get on a good, balanced, healthy diet including plenty of boiled or steamed vegetables.
Drink P L E N T Y O F W A T E R , fruit juices & fat free milk. Snack on lots of RAW fruit & veggies. Get up one hour early every morning & take a BRISK 30 minute walk - then - do the same thing again in the evening after dinner. Make sure you eat a good, balanced breakfast daily. You get your energy for the day from your breakfast meal. Get 8 hours sleep each night. Flip your mattress over so it will level out to give you a good night's rest. Slack off too much coffee & tea) also you must use herbal treatment!
in that case Wartrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of genital warts comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont reappear again! It works by stimulating your immune system to fight the HPV virus that causes the warts. of course it is better if you use full course (5 months - if I remember correctly).
It worked and still works for me!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry Wartrol but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here

The advantage of Wartrol over other natural treatments for genital warts is that, since it is taken orally, it also acts on invisible and internal genital warts that CAN NOT BE treated by other creams and natural remedies.
good luck!

Question: What are my odds of getting genital warts? My girlfriend has a strain of HPV and had warts removed a few years ago. I have always used a condom with her, but I would ideally like her to go on birth control so I don't have to use one. If there are no warts present, can I get genital warts if I don't use a condom?
Answer: Yes you can. But there's medication she can take to reduce the chances of spreading it to you. Good luck!
Question: Can you spread genital warts by kissing if you have them on your lips? I have genital warts. Then i gave oral sex to someone with genital warts. Now i have little tiny clumps of wart looking things popping up on my upper lip.
Are they geniatl warts also? Can i spread them by kissing?
And how can i get rid of them. I have tried some home remedys but they dont seem to work. HELP!
Answer: wait, first you knew you had genital warts, but then you still gave someone oral who you knew also had genital warts? Didnt getting genital warts teach either or you anything?? Genital warts can be spread through regualr sex, oral sex and kissing. there open sores for goodness sakes. why are you (either of you) going at this like its some kind of genital wart spreading frenzy. If your going to take part in any sexual behavior, use protection!
Your going to have to go see a doctor to treat this. and while your there, speak to your doctor about how to properly protect yourself and others.
Question: What are the fastest way to treat genital warts? I am diagnosed with genital warts but I am wondering what is like the fastest treatment?
I am using Aldara cream right now, and so far it's been a week. I am just worried it's not working. There is no sign at all.
Answer: Have them freezed off by a doctor who honestly isn't trying not to hurt you. I have tried that cream and it was awful I found, and my normal doctor was being too nice when it came to freezing them and basically not doing it enough to get rid of them. So i went to another doctor and yeah that cleared it up real quick!!!
Question: What are my chances of getting genital warts? What are the chances of getting genital warts from a partner if you use a condom? Does using a condom lessen the chances at all?
Answer: It will lessen the chances but it's not perfect protection. Why don't you get the vaccination? I did. It's called Gardasil. They have noticed a huge reduction in genital warts cases everywhere it was introduced!
Question: How much to get genital warts treated without insurance? I dont have insurance and i have bumps that i think might be genital warts i was wondering how much it would cost me to go to urgent care or somewhere to get them checked and treated? A price range or anything woulod help...
Answer: There are lots of places that do it for free or on a sliding scale depending on your income.
