Answer: Don't worry about it. Your specialty will find you. As you work your way through the clinical rotations, you'll find rotations with days that go fast, where you're surrounded by people who think like you - that's where you belong. The medicine vs. surgery decision will make itself clear to you pretty early. You're either OR material or you're not (and either is OK - we need specialists of all types). Good luck with getting into and through medical school.
