Question: Can anyone please provide me information concerning a medical condition called Juvenile Xanthogranuloma? Can anyone please provide me information concerning a medical condition called Juvenile Xanthogranuloma? My youngest son was diagnosed with this when he was 4. They performed a biopsy on him to make sure it wasn't cancerous. It wasn't. We were told it could affect his eyesight and to keep an eye on it. I've had differing views, but the first one is the one I follow and that is that he will have to have yearly opthamologist's eye exams and that it could cause glaucoma. I'm not sure if this is something he'll have to live with forever. Any information regarding this condition would be greatly appreciated; i.e., how it came about, what to expect from it, is it inherited, etc. Thanks.
