Question: What is the difference between an "Id" Reaction and Pompholyx? Treatments differ? Medical, Vesicles, Fingers, fungus, Men's health, cure
Answer: Id reaction is sometimes referred to as Pompholyx, and the two have much in common. Pompholyx is restricted to the hands and feet, while the Id Reaction (also termed Dyshidrotic Eczema, Dyshidrosis, or Dyshidrotic Dermatitis) involves, in descending order of frequency, the forearms, thighs, legs, trunk, face, hands, neck, and feet.
Both conditions appear to be triggered by infectious or chemical agents in the environment. Steroids seem to help in both conditions by modulating the immune response.
Question: Would be your reaction to finding out your 17-19yr kid had a fake ID?
Answer: One of my daughters got one last Saturday b/c she was told to get one by a friend before she goes up to college next year. It was mine by Sunday night. While I know that they're going to drink and do stupid things next year, having a fake ID and using it is on the top of the stupid list of things to do.
Even though I think the drinking age at 21 is stupid...if you mess up in the "adult world" it's not MY punishment you're going to suffer. Might as well learn now while you're still at home.
Question: Reaction Rate vs. ID? Can a proportion be written between the two? How can they be written in terms of collision theory?
Answer: A number of correlations between structure and reaction rate have been developed. The problem is that they are very specific to certain structural families and reactions. Probably the best known are for the ionization of weak acids.
Question: What other choices of ID dog food can I get for my Shitzu, the vet gave him Hills ? My dog is making these weird sounds from his tummy or belly, he burps,
the vet said that he may have allergy reaction to this premiun food he eats, so he gave him Hills ID,any other choice of food that will help him get better.
Answer: Every single formula that Hills makes are absolute crap. It makes me laugh that they say their products are "prescription", and that they can help particular health problems when each and every one of their foods are nothing but corn and animal byproducts. Corn is the most common allergen, which can give your dog severe digestion problems. Look at the ingredients of Hills ID:
Ground Whole Grain Corn, Brewers Rice, Dried Egg Product, Chicken By-Product Meal, Corn Gluten Meal, Pork Fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols and citric acid), Powdered Cellulose, Dicalcium Phosphate, Chicken Liver Flavor, Iodized Salt, Potassium Citrate, Choline Chloride, Calcium Carbonate, Potassium Chloride, Dried Beet Pulp, Soybean Oil, vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin A Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Biotin, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Folic Acid), Taurine, minerals (Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Copper Sulfate, Manganous Oxide, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite), preserved with Mixed Tocopherols & Citric Acid, Rosemary Extract.
Everything after the corn and rice are only minor ingredients. Rice can be great on a sensitive stomach, and a lot of the high quality dog foods on the market have rice in them. Blue Buffalo has a chicken and rice formula, and it contains real chicken as the first ingredient. I switched my dog from Ol Roy to Blue Buffalo, and it made a huge difference in his digestion. California Naturals is also great for dogs with touchy stomachs, as it has no corn and a very short ingredient list.
Just to let you know: Most vets are not educated in dog diet, and what foods are better than others. Most vets get paid to endorse particular products, most of the time it is Science Diet.
Question: What is your reaction on Barack Obama winning the presidental election? Please i really need at least 5 different people's reactions on this topic this is a class project and it id due Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Answer: Putting a man in Office will not save this nation
Banning same sex marriage will not save this nation
Banning Abortion will not save this nation.
Placing the Ten Commandments in every public Building will not save this nation.
Putting Prayer back into school will not save this nation.
Teaching I.D. or creationism in schools will not save this nation,
The Only thing that will save this Nation is if This Nation stops sinning, repents, and comes to Jesus.
2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Question: Has anyone's dog ever had a bad reaction, to the Leptospirosis Vaccine? This is a Chihuahua named Ivy, that had a very bad reaction to this vaccine. Thankfully , now she's doing fine. I just wanted to know if anyones dog has experienced this with this vaccine and what you think about the Leptispirosis Vaccine! Do you think it's necessary?
http://www.chihuahuatime.com/forum/posts…
Answer: Some breeds have a tendancy to bad reactions to Lepto. I am not sure about a chi, but for example the Dobe does.
If my dog had a bad reaction, I would not get that vaccine again.
Glad to hear she is doing fine.
Question: Can anyone help me solve the following reaction. What starting material and reagents do I use to get the final product?
here is the link where things are listed:
http://chemdb.ics.uci.edu/CHEM/Web/cgibin/reaction/PrinterFriendlySynthesisProblem.py?PrinterFriendlySynthesisProblem=Prepare&reaction_category_id=4%2C9&startingMaterials=C%5BC%40H%5D1CO1%2CCC%28%3DC%29C&productSmiles=C%255BC%2540%2540H%255D%2528CCC%2528%253DC%2529C%2529O&cautionNotes=
Answer: Start with isobutylene (the starting material in the upper left box).
Make the bromide using N-Bromosuccinamide (w.light, peroxide), this brominates at allylic carbons (and benzyl carbons as well):
H2C=C(CH3)2 + NBS → H2C=C(CH3)CH2Br (1)
Make the grignard with Magnesium in ether:
(1) + Mg → H2C=C(CH3)CH2MgBr (2)
React with the R stereoisomer of propylene oxide (the one on the right in the second row):
(2) + R- C3H6O → R- H2C=C(CH3)CH2CH2C*H(OH)CH3.
Where the * denotes the asymmetric center.
Question: What is your reaction to this story Drunken Illegal Alien Drives Car into Church? A 37-year-old Hispanic man is being held on charges of Driving While Intoxicated and C&I Driving as well as an immigration detainer after he drove his vehicle into an Osage Beach church.
Authorities were summoned to the Cornerstone Methodist Church at about 9:30 PM on Monday when someone called about a suspicious vehicle on the premises. When police arrived they found a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu had crashed into the church.
The vehicle was occupied by the driver and a passenger. One was passed out while the other was clearly intoxicated. Once extracted from the vehicle, both were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Answer: Boy, he thought he was entitled to it all....come here illegally, drive illegally, drive intoxicated....I thought they just came over and destroyed the U.S. because they "are just looking for work to care for their families". Hogwash!
Question: Why is it so bad to require valid ID to vote? From the left's reaction, you'd think they were asking voters to cough up a kidney!
Answer: Some one complained 'ID is not free'. GA tried to pass a law that would have provided STATE FUNDED photo IDs to all voters, and liberals still opposed it. They even offered to take the equipment to the voters so they didn't even have go the a government office to get the ID. Under these rules, the only ones the IDs could inconvenience are those attempting fraud.
Question: Why do I experience very slow reaction whenever i type anything in Yahoo? Like it takes approx. 3 seconds for each letter to register in the computer. Sometimes, just entering my email id and password in yahoo takes so long. In typing this question, I am experiencing such. Help pls.

If there is go to yahoo/google and write the name in and search. e.g. sttray.exe (you never know you could have a virus.) if not then you need to do windows update and install if you havent IE7 or the latest firefox etc,
