Question: know any tasty healthy melas that can be reheated? (i work 24hour shifts and want to take proper food with me)
Answer: Make a nice big pot of vegetable stew (onion, garlic, zucchini, summer squash, cauliflower, tomatoes, eggplant if desired, artichoke hearts, black olives, carrots, herbs to taste, etc.) Then cook couscous (available at health food stores and most grocery stores, very quick & easy to make). In a meal-sized plastic container, place a layer of cous-cous in the bottom, a layer of vegetable stew on top, sprinkle with some shredded cheese if you like, and cover. Reheat in microwave until hot and cheese is melted.
Stir, and you have a tasty, easy, home-cooked meal!
This will last several days depending on how much you make.
If you do have leftover vegetable stew, just add some broth and pasta, and voila, you have soup!

Answer: I got it done professionally a few years ago. Surprisingly, it lasted a month and a half.
Here's some tips for a long-lasting design:
Exfoliate the area a day or so before applying henna dye.
Keeping the skin supple and moist slows down the exfoliation (skin-shedding) process. The emollients and binders in regular lotions fade the color quickly, therefore it is recommended that you use almond, avocado, carrot, jojoba, etc.or vegetable-based oils, as they are the best moisturizers for mehndi designs.
Another factor that contributes to the wear of your design is contact with water. Try to cover the area before bathing.
Hope this helps.
