Question: Can Getting Excited Right Before Cause An Cerebral Hemorrhage (Aneurysm) Brain? Can Getting Excited Right Before Cause An Cerebral Hemorrhage (Aneurysm) ? My dad had one and had hypertension but we didn't know about it. I was just wondering my dad got excited right before he got dizzy then a bad headache and about 30 mins later lost conciousness and never regained it . I was just wondering if his getting excited might have triggered it? Thank You
Answer: Sorry to hear about that. The excitement probably did trigger it, but if you had anything to do with him getting excited you shouldn't blame yourself, because it wasn't your fault. If it didn't happen when it happened, it probably would have happened the next time he got excited, or some time in the near future. He should have been getting regular checkups, then they would have caught the hypertension and put him on medication. Even if you are young, you should be getting regular checkups (at least once a year) to make sure you don't get high blood pressure, because it is hereditary to a large extent.
Question: a 73year old woman suffers a severe cerebral hemorrhage after minor trauma. blood work reveals that her blood? clotting ability is impaired. disease of which abdominal organ may contribute to this? why?
Answer: Just guessing these aorta-pancreas-spleen and another 10 to 1 reasons could be the cause.Ask a professional for the right answer.
Question: Disease of which abdominal organ may impair blood from clotting after a severe cerebral hemorrhage?
Answer: Your liver controls blood clotting. After severe blood loss your body can go into DIC (Dissemenated Intravascular Coagulation) which causes the blood clotting factors to go to the extremities and the blood centrally does not clot. This usually results in death.
I hope this is your answer.
Question: With a life support due to cerebral hemorrhage, Mom needs a bronchinal resection. What possible side effects? My mother had a traffic accident three years ago. She couldn't walk properly. Three weeks ago, she fell down and had a cerebral hemorrhage. She was taken to hospital three hours later. It was late. Her left limbs couldn't move. She has been dependent on a life support device. Now her doctor suggests that she should undergo a bronchial resection. I do know that her conditions will last for a long time and that it means a huge amount of expense. Even if she does have the surgery, she is said to have little hope of full recovery. I wonder what the side effects of this resection will be. Please let me know.

P.S. She is suffering from diabetes and hypertension.
Answer: I am very sorry to hear about your mother. I agree with the other poster. It is time to sit down with her doctor(s) and have a serious discussion about your goals for your mother's care. Are you hoping for a cure or do you just want to keep her comfortable? If you just want to keep her comfortable, will the surgery help her do that? I am not sure what a bronchinal resection is, but if it is a tracheotomy, some people think that it does keep people more comfortable on life support...others think it just prolongs suffering. It is a very difficult situation, and I hope you are able to come to a decision that is right for your mom and for your family. Take care.
Question: My father was diagnosed with having a cerebral hemorrhage on 18 Dec 2006.? I have done so many treatment by medicine ,but till he can not walk. His left side paralized. Doctor advised for opration. What is the prognosis other than opration.
Answer: it has almost been an year since the incident has occured!!
despite all ur effort there is only a partial recovery!!
it is VERY UNLIKELY that he will recover now!!
no point subjecting him for surgery ,since the outcome is not very favourable!!
instead treat him with the aid of a nurse or even physiotherapy may be helpful

Question: A 73 year old woman suffers a severe cerebral hemorrhage after minor trauma.? Blood work reveals that her blood clotting ability is impaired. Disease of which abdominal organ may contribute to this? Why?
Answer: the liver. because one of the functions of the liver is to produce various clotting factors...with liver disease your blood will not clot normally so you are at a higher risk of major bleeding.
Question: Usual procedure for a diagnosed cerebral hemorrhage.? I wanted to know what is the usual procedure for someone who's been diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage (i.e. observation, surgery...) and also what are the chances of recovering from one.
Answer: it depends on the situation of the intra-cranial pressure, if there is an increase in the Intracranial pressure this is consider and a medical emergency and should be lowered by Hyperventilation and diuretics ..
if there is focal neurological manifestations ( cause by blood pressing on brain ) this blood must be evacuated surgically
if there is no focal neurological manifestation, and there is no change in mental status , no singes of increase intra cranial tension so observation will be the answer ,,,

Answer: Who? Obviously not you. You need to learn how to write.
Depends on age, overall physical condition, drive, extent of damage, adherence to recovery regimen, region of the brain affected, duration of the event, etc. There's a million variables, and there are no set answers- the brain is still fairly mysterious.

I was just wondering my dad got excited right before he got dizzy then a bad headache and about 30 mins later lost conciousness and never regained it . I was just wondering if his getting excited might have triggered it? Thank You
Answer: No, I believe his other comorbidities were a trigger. His previous medical history, and his genetic make up was greatly linked to this aneurysm.. Bulging aneurysm can put pressure on the nerve or surrounding brain tissue (poss. cause of his dizziness). People who have Cerebral aneurysms usually have a circulatory problem, polycystic kidney disease, or an AVM(arteriovenous malformation). Other causes are HYPERTENSION, tumors, atherosclerosis, head trauma, smoking, and drug abuse.
Don't feel singled out--brain aneurysms can happen to anyone, at anytime; usually adults (usually 30-60 years old). A person may have an aneurysm and never know it their entire life, it is only when it bursts that it is dangerous. (loss of consciousness due to bleeding on the brain).

Question: My friends´ grandmother had cerebral hemorrhage :( What´s the best way to make her feel better or at least? to show my empathy?
My grandfather also had it, and I know how tough it is, and I don´t want to hurt her feelings :'(
Answer: Dear Neue,
The best way to show empathy is just to be there for your friend. Let her know that you know she's worried. Ask how she's feeling. Let her talk. That's the biggie. Let her talk. Then let her know that you understand. That's what empathy is all about.
Alternatively, if she doesn't want to talk about it, just be there to talk about other stuff. She might be so overwhelmed that it would do her good to discuss other things. See which direction she seems inclined to go, and then take her cue.
I wouldn't go overboard telling about your experience with your grandfather's illness, especially if he didn't do well. If he recovered, then that might be a good way to give her hope.
Lastly, I'd like to say that your friend is very lucky to have a friend like you, who cares enough to try to give the very best support at this time.
Good for you,
